“Calgary” is bred and trained to be an outstanding versatile horse. He is by an own son of Metallica, who is on his way to be a top producing stallion. Unlike most Metallica offspring this stallion stands at 15-1 hands. He has been trained as a versatlity ranch stallion and excels in team roping as a head horse. This gelding, we call Calgary, born on the side of a rocky mountain, like all our babies, making him as sure footed as they come. He lopes smooth circles with good transitions from large fast to small slow. He has been ridden outside a great deal and has done all phases of ranch work from sortng to branding calves. He has worked both ends of the roping pen with his age in mind. Calgary is gentle and as bullet-proof of a 3-year-old as you can find. He has been ridden and raised by a trainer that has been in the business for 40 years. You can use steps to mount and dismount and ride him bareback in a halter. Check out the videos on this one of a kind 3-year- old.
